The Twenty-Seventh Musing

This one will probably be short, since I'm at work and I don't know how much free time I'll have until the guys come back from lunch.  Here goes....

Love my new assignment!  I would've never thought that shipping could be interesting.  Then I was introduced to the U.S. tariff website.  Wow.  I highly recommend checking it out.  Someone has actually taken the time to classify anything and everything you could possibly import into the U.S.  It's crazy funny.  http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/bychapter/index.htm.  Go visit.

Weird stuff happening with guys I know.  But, then again, that's par for the course with me.  Vegas was fun, but ultimately didn't accomplish what I was hoping to, except for getting a new tattoo.  I almost passed out.  Never drinking before tattooing ever again.  Ever.

Doheny trip was fabulous.  My SD boys came up to visit, and we had a blast.  I got too drunk, started a wrestling match (as usual), and lost my cell phone on the beach.  Great.  Then woke up the next morning at 7 and made pancakes for everybody.  Oddly enough, the boys charmed the hell out of my family.  From my grandma to my littlest sister.  Crazy.  Even my little cousins were impressed, though, with them, it doesn't take much.  Crazy.  It's amazing how you don't often realize how great some of the people you know are.  I've been friends with Chris and Sam for almost 5 years now, and I knew they were good people, but I just figured they were my stranger sort of people.  Never thought they'd mingle so well with my family.  Of course, both my mother and my aunt instantly start winking at me and asking "So, that Sam/Chris, he's pretty cute...."  wink wink hint hint nudge nudge say no more say no more.  Jeez.  I think they all want me married so they can have grand-babies and nieces/nephews, and great-grand-babies and grand-nieces/nephews.  And since I'm having issues with committing to being a "girlfriend" at the moment, the pressure from my family to get married (whether real or imagined), is a little more than I need.

So things are going pretty well.  I'm finally rocking the wheel in ceramics, which is frickin' awesome.  And here I was worried I have no artistic talent.  My lit class is always a blast.  Work is nice.  Boys are stupid.  Pretty much same old same old.  Can't think of much more to say.  Have fun.....
